Our Energy Adviser, provides free support and guidance to all our LSHA tenants on a range of energy related topics within your home. This service includes:
- In-home demonstrations of how to operate/configure your heating controls to match your work pattern/lifestyle.
- Advice on the best electricity tariff options (in line with current pattern of use) to maximise savings opportunities.
- Support with energy supplier app sign-ups to allow improved benefits from your smart meter.
- Help with identifying meter/billing discrepancies and support with conversations with energy suppliers to have these resolved quickly.
- Support with understanding how your smart meter and in-home display operate.
- Report on any observation’s made during home-visits which can help prevent against heat loss, damp and mould and excessive running costs.
- Carry out thermal imaging camera checks to identify any areas of concern that could contribute to any issues being experienced.
- Carry out cold weather temperature and humidity monitoring and advise on humidity management to maintain the comfort levels within your home.
- Carry out Energy Performance Certificates to ensure our properties remain compliant.
- Ongoing help and support to fully understand the changes being experienced when swapping over from Radio teleswitch meters to the modern smart meters to ensure they are functioning correctly.
